Mr. Hemish Harshadbhai Padshala and Mr. Shivam Tiwari first met in 2022 while working in a painting company. Both were known for their technical knowledge, practical skills, and approach toward client satisfaction. Being technically qualified professionals, they believed that the painting and protective coating industry could achieve far better results through upgraded technology, better planning, and smarter execution.
They often experienced that many good initiatives were restricted by traditional management systems, where decisions were driven more by cost control than by long-term improvement, innovation, productivity, safety, and quality. Despite these limitations, both remained confident that modern painting technologies and improved working methods could deliver higher productivity, faster project completion, and better value to clients.
Over a simple cup of tea, they shared a common thought — to change the working style of the industry. They decided that in the future they would build their own organization: a company with no unnecessary boundaries, a company that would welcome innovation, adopt new painting technologies, improve productivity in practical ways, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
After that, both continued their professional journeys separately in different companies. Over the next 8 years, they gained valuable experience by working in both multinational companies and owner-driven organizations, learning every important aspect of the business — from technical execution and workforce handling to client expectations, project delivery, and operational management. Yet throughout those years, they never forgot their dream.
Finally, after building the right combination of skills, experience, confidence, and financial readiness, they established AS SurfaceTech Pvt. Ltd.
